✓ Before You Book Your Flight

• ✔ You need a valid passport for at least six months before your trip.
• ✔ Make sure you have at least one blank page for your Morocco entry and exit stamp.
• ✔ If your passport is close to expiring, renew it before you book your flights.

💡 Did you know? When it’s time to take your passport photo, it has to meet official requirements. That means no smiling, no funny faces, no sunglasses, and no filters. Save the big smile for your first glass of Moroccan mint tea with your first plate of authentic couscous.

Do I need a Visa?

For U.S. citizens, the answer is usually no. Morocco entry requirements allow American tourists to visit visa-free for up to 90 days.

If you’re planning to stay longer than 90 days, or you’re traveling for work, study, or another purpose, different entry requirements may apply.

🛂 Visa Tip: Visa requirements are based on the passport you travel with – not the country where you currently live. If you’re traveling on a passport from a country other than the United States, be sure to verify the current Morocco entry requirements before booking your trip.

💡 Travel Tip: Immigration officers often ask where you’re staying, so keep the address on your phone or somewhere handy.

✈️ Arriving in Morocco

Your adventure officially begins the moment you step off the plane. Landing in a new country can feel exciting and a little overwhelming. The good news? Morocco’s airports are, well-organized, and easy to navigate.

After You Land

From this point on, things get much more fun.😁 All your Morocco Entry Requirements have been checked off, and you are on your way to a trip of a lifetime!

Once you get off the plane, simply follow the signs for Passport Control (Immigration). Airport signs are in Arabic, French, and English, and staff are available if you need assistance.

Collecting Your Luggage

After clearing immigration, continue to the baggage claim area to get your luggage. Flight information screens will direct you to the correct carousel.

Passing Through Customs

Before exiting the airport, you’ll pass through customs. Most visitors simply walk through the customs exit without any issues.

Meeting Your Driver

If you’ve booked airport transportation with Explore Morocco Earth, your driver will be waiting for you outside the arrivals terminal.
