ITINERARY

Day 1 -Casablanca to Rabat

• Morning: Arrive in Casablanca. Visit the Hassan II Mosque.
• Afternoon: Depart for Rabat (1.5-hour drive).
• Evening: Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Overnight in Rabat.

Day 2 -Rabat to Meknes to Volubilis to Fez

• Morning: Depart for Meknes (2-hour drive). Visit the Bab Mansour gate, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and the Royal Stables.
• Afternoon: Continue to Volubilis (40-minute drive). Explore the Roman ruins.
• Evening: Depart for Fez (1.5-hour drive). Check into your hotel in Fez.

Day 3 -Exploring Fez

• All Day: Guided tour of Fez. Visit the Fez Medina, the Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Chouara Tannery, and the Royal Palace. Explore the souks and artisan workshops.

Day 4 -Fez to Azrou to Midelt to Ziz Valley to Merzouga

• Morning: Depart early for Merzouga. Drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou.
• Afternoon: Continue through Midelt and the Ziz Valley, with stops for photos and refreshments.
• Evening: Arrive in Merzouga. Check into your desert camp and enjoy a camel trek to watch the sunset over the dunes. Dinner and overnight in the desert camp.

Day 5 -Merzouga Area and Camel Trek

• Morning: Optional early morning camel trek to watch the sunrise. Visit a local nomad village and experience traditional Berber culture.
• Afternoon: Explore the surrounding desert area, including the Khamlia village known for its Gnawa music.
• Evening: Return to your desert camp for dinner and another night under the stars.

Day 6 - Merzouga to Todra Gorges to Dades Valley

• Morning: Depart for Todra Gorges (4-hour drive). Walk through the gorge and enjoy the stunning rock formations.
• Afternoon: Continue to Dades Valley (1.5-hour drive). Visit the Dades Gorges and the “Monkey Fingers” rock formations.
• Evening: Check into your accommodation in Dades Valley.

Day 7 -Dades Valley to Ait Ben Haddou to Tizi n’Tichka Pass to Marrakech

• Morning: Depart for Ait Ben Haddou (3-hour drive). Explore the Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
• Afternoon: Continue to Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (4-hour drive). Enjoy the scenic mountain views.
• Evening: Arrive in Marrakech and check into your hotel.

Day 8 - Exploring Marrakech
