Day 1 -Trip to Ait Ben Haddou from Marrakech

Morning: Departure from Marrakech

• 7:00 AM – Depart Marrakech
• Start your journey early for a full day of exploration.
• Drive time: Approx. 3.5-4 hours (180 km) via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
• Enjoy the scenic journey through the High Atlas Mountains with stunning landscapes, small Berber villages, and winding roads.

Mid-Morning: Stop at Tizi n’Tichka Pass

• 9:30 AM – Scenic Stop at Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 meters)

Late Morning: Arrival in Ait Ben Haddou

• 11:00 AM – Arrive at Ait Ben Haddou

• Start your exploration by crossing the riverbed (dry in most seasons) and entering the ancient ksar (fortified village).

Midday: Explore Ait Ben Haddou

• 11:30 AM – Explore the Kasbah
• Wander through the narrow streets of this historic ksar, built from traditional mud-brick architecture.
• Climb to the top of the old granary for panoramic views of the surrounding desert and the village.
• Learn about the history of this iconic site and how it has been used as a backdrop for many Hollywood productions.

Lunch: Traditional Moroccan Meal
